Studies

Arsakeion School, Patras.
Piano lessons by Gerasimos Rombotis in Patras and by Alex. Graig and Sofia Pierris in Corfu.
She continued at the National Odeion of Athens and later in Vienna

She has also attended painting courses, under the Corfiot painters Ag. Kontis, N. Zervos, as well as at the ABC School.

She has taken part in various cultural events, in terms of concerts and lectures.
Most of her activities are dedicated to children, as she has invented a pedagogic system, which allows the child to learn music, using his/her language. In 1998, this system was announced at the International Pedagogic Conference in Cyprus.
The book, published by the Panhellenic Association of Music Teachers, is entitled “Write – Play Music”.
Other books: “I learn music Α”, “I learn music B”, “Greek Children Pieces” for piano, “Piano method and Improvisation”, “Seikilou Epomena”, vol. Α for piano, “The Pomegranate”, piano plays based on traditional music, “Students’ papers based on the new teaching method”, etc.
Furthermore, she set the Orphic Hymns to music, accompanied by piano and harp (“Orphic Hymns”, vol. A). She also set the poems of Greek poets to music, using motives from the Greek tradition (Palamas, Kalvos, Polemis, Mavilis, Lapathiotis, etc.). She set the words of ancient lyric poets to music (Sappho, Theognis, Stisichoros, Anakreon, etc). She wrote polyphonic songs.
Her articles appear in many magazines: “Davlos”, “Apollonio Fos”, as well as in Epirote newspapers on the ancient and contemporary Greek music.

She has also dealt with painting; she has participated in many group and solo exhibitions in Corfu, Athens and Ioannina.
