Professional activity

1995 – today: player of folk music
1997 – today: teaching of traditional percussion instruments in the Municipal Conservatory of Ioannina
1993 – today: Musician at the Dance School of the Cultural Centre, in the Modern Dance and Jazz classes
1998 – 2008: Professor of traditional percussion instruments at the Musical High School and Lyceum in Doliana
2000 – 2005: Professor at the Department of Traditional Music, Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Arta, traditional percussion instruments.
He has worked in night clubs of Ioannina for 17 years.

He ahs been an active member of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Ioannina and the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipal Conservatory.

Other activities

In February 2003, he organized a Seminar on Traditional Percussion Instruments entitled “Greece of percussion instruments and of the melodies of yesterday and today with the famous ensemble KROTALA” (P. Kourtis, V. Karipis, A. Pappas) in Ioannina.
