A unique group composed of 3 Greek musicians; hearing them you realise that certain words recover their lost meaning! Art, musical display, interpretation, composition… they are all there. At a time that we say the same over and over again, in a commercialized, musical setting these 3 musicians are decided to travel to immense worlds of emotion. They are world citizens and they possess the ingredients of a world culture. Based on exceptional artistic honesty, they perform creating a musical landscape closely tied up with their personal culture, unfolding their very own self.

Jazz LINE has had a remarkable and careful artistic course, selecting the areas for their appearances and giving performances that make an impression. They are a flexible group with a dynamic, wide repertoire, that tend to render authentic pieces of music. They have made numerous appearances in concert halls, etc.

 

The group consists of the pianist – composer Konstantinos Georgonikos, the saxophonist – flaoutist Panagiotis Tellis and the drummer Dimitris Cheliotis. They are all professors of music in the city of Ioannina.
