Athens Conservatory, Ch. Pharantatou Clarinet Class, degree “excellent”, 1st Prize.

1979: Using a scholarship by the State Scholarships Foundation, he continued his postgraduate studies in Paris, “Diplome Superieure de Concertiste”.

1983 – today: first clarinet at the Athens State Orchestra
1974 -1979: first clarinet and saxophone of the Orchestra of Modern Music of ERT
1983 – 1992: first clarinet of the National Orchestra of ERT
 
He has appeared as a soloist with the Athens State Orchestra, the Thessalonica State Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of ERT, the Athens String Orchestra, performing for the first time in Greece the concerts of Μ. Bruch, J. Fiala, A. Manievitz. He has also given first executions of many works for clarinet, dedicated to him by composers, like Th. Antoniou, M. Adamis, Ch. Vrontos, etc.
 
He has a Diploma in Orchestra Conducting by the chief musician L. Chalkiadakis, a Diploma in Saxophone with Th. Zervas.
He has also studied Flute with Ours Rutimman.
 

1998-2008: Curator of the School of Woodwind Instruments, Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone, Professor of Chamber Music at the “Philippos Nakas” Conservatory.

Professor of Clarinet – Saxophone and Chamber Music at the Municipal Conservatory of Ioannina, the National Conservatory and “Orpheio” of Athens.

Other activities

He has created many ensembles (saxophone quartets, woodwind instrument quintets, clarinet choir) and he is the inspirer and music director of the “Philippos Nakas” Symphony Band, with which he has given performances at the Athens Concert Hall, the cultural events of “Athens 2004”, the Athens College, the “DAIS” Cultural Centre, the theatre of Pierce College, in the framework of the celebrations for the 500 years from the foundation of the Great School of the Nation, as well as in the Education Program “Educating with a Vision” of the Ministry of Education, with many concerts in public and private schools.
