He has written various monographies and he has published many articles in newspapers and magazines. He is an amateur painter and his paintings have been exhibited in group exhibitions.

His work: “Lord Byron: From Giannena to immortality”, “Odysseas” editions 2006, ‘Giannena in the 19^th century. As described and illustrated by foreign travellers”, Odysseas” editions 2005, “Ioanninon Praise”, 1998.

Other activities

During his studies, he became president of the Association of Epirote Students in Thessaloniki and vice-president of the Students Association of the School of Engineering in Thessaloniki. He was elected three times chairman of the Architects Association of Ioannina; also City Councilor·(1986-1990) and Mayor of Ioannina (1998-2002). He was also Member of the Board of ELEPAP, the Philanthropic Union of Ioannina, the Civil Engineers Association of Ioannina and chairman of the Committee for the Tourist Development of Epirus.
