He has written various monographies and he has published many articles in newspapers and magazines. He is an amateur painter and his paintings have been exhibited in group exhibitions.

His work: “Lord Byron: From Giannena to immortality”, “Odysseas” editions 2006, ‘Giannena in the 19th century. As described and illustrated by foreign travellers”, Odysseas” editions 2005, “Ioanninon Praise”, 1998.

Other activities

During his studies, he became president of the Association of Epirote Students in Thessaloniki and vice-president of the Students Association of the School of Engineering in Thessaloniki. He was elected three times chairman of the Architects Association of Ioannina; also City Councilor·(1986-1990) and Mayor of Ioannina (1998-2002). He was also Member of the Board of ELEPAP, the Philanthropic Union of Ioannina, the Civil Engineers Association of Ioannina and chairman of the Committee for the Tourist Development of Epirus.
