Studies

In 1933, he graduated from the Didaskaleion of Ioannina.
In 1939 he came first at the entrance exams of the School of Philosophy-Pedagogics and in 1946 he graduated with honours.

He also attended lessons at the Panteion University and the French Academy.

   In 1945, he founded the homonym publishing house, which issued the monthly philosophical and educational review “Neo Scholeio-Nea Paidagogiki”, the magazines “Paradeisos tou Paidiou”, “Elefthera Anagnosmata”, “Patridognosies” and the “Encyclopedia for the Young” (volumes 28). At the same time, he wrote and published a series of 48 schoolbooks.
   In 1960, he wrote and published the “Dictionary of Demotic Greek”.
   In the process, he published the “Concise Dictionaries of Ancient Greek and Katharevousa”, with their meaning in Demotic Greek.
Charis Patsis has written 3 books:
   “Sociology and Social Systems”,
   “The Future of Socialism” and
   “Globalization, the Swan Song of Capitalism”. The series has been completed with the recent work “Plato, the Great Philosopher and Social Visionist”(2007).

As far as literature is concerned, Charis Patsis has written and circulated many works of fiction and a collection of poetry.

He got involved in journalism and he gave lectures on pedagogics, history, literature and society in different educational foundations of Greece.
