In 1979, he offered 50 paintings in favour of the earthquake victims in Thesprotia.
He took part in the National Resistance of 1941 – 1944; the Ministry of National Defence awarded him an honorary distinction and a medal.
He donated more than 150 of his works to the Prefectural Authority of Thesprotia.
