Studies

He began piano lessons with Charis Kladakis and he received his degree with “excellent” from the class of Aris Garoufalis in the Athens Conservatoire.
He continued his musical studies in London under the famous pianist Llois Philips and in 1990 he took his soloist diploma (A.R.C.M.) by the London Royal College of Music. He attended piano seminars with Frederic Gevers in Athens and Martha Gulyas in Budapest.

He has graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens (Department of Political Sciences and Public Administration)

He has taken part in many chamber music concerts (London, Athens, Thessalonica, Ioannina, Kalamata, Chalkida, Symi, Santorini) and, as a soloist he has cooperated with the Athens State Orchestra (Athens Concert Hall and Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Ioannina) and the Small Stringed Instruments Orchestra (Penteli Festival).

In the last years, he cooperates on a permanent basis with the violinist Margarita Basari in concerts for violin and piano sonatas and with the Russian violinist Michail Smirnov (viola and piano plays). He also collaborates with horn player V. Skouras in works for horn, violin and piano (trio). Recently, the trio appeared in Tirane in Albania in the framework of the International Forum of Chamber Music “Allegretto Albania”.

Professional activity

Responsible for the musical programming of the Athens State Orchestra and main pianist.

He has been giving piano lessons in the Conservatoire of the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Marousi since September 2005.
